SUAI received an official delegation of Foreign Affairs Office from Henan Provincial People’s Government. Henan is an east-central province of China, where the delegation came from to find out about educational and scientific activities of our University and to negotiate.

The Chinese delegation was represented by: Chu Yaping, Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of Henan Provincial People’s Congress, Chen Jiansheng, Director General of the Ethnic, Overseas and Foreign Affairs Committee of the Standing Committee of Henan Provincial People’s Congress, Hao Lijun, Deputy Director General of Foreign and Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of Henan Provincial People’s Government, Mao Jie, Deputy Director General of Henan Provincial Department of Education, Cao Jian, Vice President of Zhongyuan University of Technology, and Liu Di, Interpreter of Foreign and Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of Henan Provincial People’s Government.

SUAI at China Astronautics Day

In view of the China Astronautics Day, 23-24 April, 2017, and the invitation by Wong Jinsong, President of the Northwestern Polytechnical University (NPU), Xi’an, China, the SUAI Vice-rector for International Affairs Konstantin Losev visited the PRC.

SUAI delegation spoke at the foundation meeting of The International Aerospace Innovation Association on the growing ties of China and Russia in aerospace and astronautics. The visit and the talks allowed for SUAI to join the Association of Sino-Russian Technical Universities (ASRTU), as well as wider SUAI-NPU programs of student and professor exchange and NPU summer camps in aerospace and astronautics.

September 8-10 Within the framework of the BRICS Global University Summit and following the 120th anniversary of the Beijing Jiao Tong University, the SUAI’s Vice Rector for International Affairs K. V. Losev and BJTU’s administration in a meeting discussed educational programs and joint research projects in Electrical Mechanics and Robotics. Special attention was paid to 2017 Summer schools for students.

Noteworthy is SUAI’s involvement in the Russia and PRC’s Forum on Development of Research and Educational Programs. The parties agreed to promote programs in Mechatronics and Robotics, Management of Technical Systems and Management in Power Engineering.

21 December 2015 – SUAI hosted a delegation of Beijing institute of Remote Sensing Equipment (China) headed by Zhang Xiaofeng. SUAI was represented by Vice-Rector of International Affairs Konstantin V. Losev and Director of the Institute of Radioengineering, Electronics and Communications Aleksandr R. Bestugin.

The speakers focused on scientific, technical and educational cooperation.
