September 14, 2017 an official delegation of the Beihang University, China, visited SUAI.
Previously known as the Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics (BUAA), it was formed in 1952 to develop into a structure of 30 institutes with over 30 000 students, faculty and administration currently rating in the top 20 of Chinese universities.
SUAI accepted an official delegation from Wuhan city (People’s Republic of China). State officials and Chinese High-tech industry representatives were the members of the mission:

SUAI received an official delegation of Foreign Affairs Office from Henan Provincial People’s Government. Henan is an east-central province of China, where the delegation came from to find out about educational and scientific activities of our University and to negotiate.
The Chinese delegation was represented by: Chu Yaping, Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of Henan Provincial People’s Congress, Chen Jiansheng, Director General of the Ethnic, Overseas and Foreign Affairs Committee of the Standing Committee of Henan Provincial People’s Congress, Hao Lijun, Deputy Director General of Foreign and Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of Henan Provincial People’s Government, Mao Jie, Deputy Director General of Henan Provincial Department of Education, Cao Jian, Vice President of Zhongyuan University of Technology, and Liu Di, Interpreter of Foreign and Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of Henan Provincial People’s Government.
June 19, 2017 SUAI welcomed the official delegation of the Shanghai Second Polytechnic University (SSPU), China, of Xie Huaqing, the SSPU Vice-President, Xia Yanchun, the Head of the SSPU International Office, Liu Xiaohang, the Director of the Research Department, Xia Yanchun, the Deputy Dean of the Technical College, Shaojing Song, the Head of the Communications and Technology at SSPU Technical College, and Xu Man, the Coordinator of International Programs.
In view of the China Astronautics Day, 23-24 April, 2017, and the invitation by Wong Jinsong, President of the Northwestern Polytechnical University (NPU), Xi’an, China, the SUAI Vice-rector for International Affairs Konstantin Losev visited the PRC.
SUAI delegation spoke at the foundation meeting of The International Aerospace Innovation Association on the growing ties of China and Russia in aerospace and astronautics. The visit and the talks allowed for SUAI to join the Association of Sino-Russian Technical Universities (ASRTU), as well as wider SUAI-NPU programs of student and professor exchange and NPU summer camps in aerospace and astronautics.
October, 9th Within the framework of the Trade and Economic Forum and the Anhui province: Approach to Russia exhibition SUAI housed a performance by Huángméi traditional opera with Zaifen in the leading part.
September 29-30 SUAI Rector Yu. A. Antokhina and Vice-Rector for International Affairs K.V. Losev, heading SUAI delegation to PRC, in a meeting with the Shanghai SUES authorities discussed broadening contacts of SUAI with Chinese leading universities.
September 27-29 The SUAI delegation with the Rector Yu. A. Antokhina visited the Shanghai Polytechnic University (SSPU) within the framework of the Global Partnership Week. In her presentation at the Forum Yu. A. Antokhina spoke on Professional Engineering Education Reform in the Context of the Internet Application for Education.
