Migratory accounting of foreign students

Public customs for multiple visa through the Federal Migratory Service are 1000 rubles (according to the receipt).

Documents are brought and received to the Federal Migratory Service by the employee of passport and visa sub-department of Department of International Affairs at Saint Petersburg State University of Aerospace Instrumentation (DIA SUAI).

In accordance with Order of the Federal Migratory Service of Russia dated 08.11.07 No 430 “Concerning the Procedure of making visas, extension of visas, restoration and cancellation of visas”, Decree of the Government of RF of 9th June 2003 No 335 “Concerning the Procedure of visa’s appearance, making visas, extension of visas, restoration in the case of loss and cancellation of visas” and Decree of the Government of RF of 4th October 2007 No 635 “On Making Changes to the Concerning the Procedure of visa’s appearance, making visas, extension of visas, restoration in the case of loss and cancellation of visas” the administrative procedure of getting visas is regualted.

IMPORTANT! Maximum term of getting visa is 30 days. Respected students, please, apply for your visa beforehand! Watch terms! Turn to the University in a month and a week before expire date of your visa. There may be no chance for The Federal Migratory Service of Russia to issue your visa! There are no guarantees of correctly issued visas for students’ addressed late and out of time.

Untimely or not extended visa is an administrative offence (Article 18.9(4) of the Russian Code on the Administrative Offenses) and involves an administrative fine.

The Federal Migratory Service of Russia have the right to deny permission for issuing or extending a visa for the persons who have committed an two or more administrative offences per year!!!

In the case of dismissal, you need to issue transit visa! You have only 10 days from the date of dismissal! So you must come to the passport and visa sub-department of DIA SUAI immediately!

For issuing multiple visa you also must come to the passport and visa sub-department of Department of International Affairs at Saint Petersburg State University of Aerospace Instrumentation. Documents are as follows:

  1. Valid passport (the original) where is a stamp of entrance to the Russian Federation. Pay attention to the expire date of your passport (must be 1 and a half year of reserve)! If period of validity of your passport comes to an end, you must prolong it (for example, during holidays).
  2. The copy of the passport’s pages with the photo, information about foreign student (name, surname, date of birth etс.) and term of validity of your passport.
  3. Migratory card (the original) and it’s copy.
  4. Copy of the valid visa.
  5. Notice of migratory accounting and it’s copy.
  6. Receipt on 1000 rubles for multiple visa. If you will pay in Sberbank, there will be no taxes. You can get help with the filling the visa’s receipt in a department. You must pay for your visa yourself.
  7. Photo 3×4 – 4 items, if you come for the first time – 5 items.
  8. These documents are brought to the Federal Migratory Service by the employee of passport and visa department of the University. Your visa will be ready up to 30 days. Specialists of passport and visa department of the University receive your visa and give it to you after a sign in a journal. You must have passport (with the entrance visa), migratory card, multiple visa and notice of migratory accounting during your stay in Saint-Petersburg.

If you are going to leave Russian Federation, you must write an application and sign it that there are no objections for you departure from the International Sub-Department of Department of International Affairs at Saint Petersburg State University of Aerospace Instrumentation. Than you can buy tickets and give their copy to the department (so the International Sub-Department will know the date of your departure).

When you arrive to Russian Federation you MUST come to the passport and visa sub-department of DIA SUAI with the new migratory card for making new migratory accounting.

NEW MIGRATORY CARD, NEW MIGRATORY ACCOUNTING

If you are going to leave, you must come to the International department of the University beforehand.

PLEASE, DON’T LEAVE the territory of Russian Federation without coming to the University.

Your visa will be extended according to the Order of the Federal Migratory Service of Russia dated 08.11.07 No 72.

You will get help with the copying of the necessary documents by the members of the passport and visa department, but you must come BEFOREHAND. There can’t be any changes in the documents! So, please, let know of any changes (the address, the mobile phone).

Please, maintain the Orders of the Government of RF of 15th August 1996 No 114 and No 115 dated 25.07.2002.

If you change your address, you must let know the University in a 3 days!

As a result of a migratory accounting, you will get a notice of migratory accounting (with a surname, name, citizenship, No of your passport and the address) with a stamp of the Federal Migratory Service.

Untimely application to the University is an administrative offence (Article 18.8 of the Russian Code on the Administrative Offenses).

False information or false documents are an administrative offence (Article 19.27 of the Russian Code on the Administrative Offenses) and involves an administrative fine.

If a foreign student leaves Russian Federation (holidays, dismissal, graduation etc.), he must come to the University and return a notice of migratory accounting beforehand, because the University must return it to the Federal Migratory Service not later than two days after your departure.

Untimely notice of migratory accounting’s redelivery is an administrative offence (Article 18.8 of the Russian Code on the Administrative Offenses) and involves an administrative fine.

In case of loss (passport, visa, migratory card, notice of migratory accounting) you must go to the police station to get a note about the loss and then give it to the University.
